Recruitment

The Marketing Department of HEC Paris invites applications for an advanced level (associate, full) tenure-track faculty position in Marketing starting September 2017 or later. The position will remain open until filled. Successful candidates must have a strong record of publishing in top-tier journals. We are open to applications from all areas of marketing (quantitative, behavioral, managerial). However, our immediate priority is for researchers specializing in quantitative marketing who are interested in teaching digital marketing and data-driven marketing courses. In addition, successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with doctoral students and mentor younger faculty trained in some of the world’s best business schools.

HEC Paris offers scholars a number of benefits. Our geographic proximity to, and extensive contacts with, the Paris business community stimulate research ideas and provide data access. Teaching loads are comparatively low (90 contact hours per year, equivalent to two semester-long courses), salary is competitive, and research support is substantial.

HEC Paris has been consistently ranked among the top schools in Europe for the last decade. Such achievement and recognition derive from a diverse international faculty, dedication to and support of high-quality scholarship, and a wide range of high-quality educational programs that include (1) an MSc in Management within the French Grande Ecole  system that is consistently ranked 1st in France by leading national publications and 2nd worldwide by the Financial Times , (2) a full-time MBA program ranked 17th worldwide by the Financial Times , (3) the TRIUM EMBA program (TRIUM partners being NYU and the London School of Economics), which is ranked 3rd worldwide (Financial Times ), and (4) a rigorous Ph.D. program.

Fluency in French is not required, as all courses are offered in English.
